Editing white balance to your photos

Editing white balance to your photos

Hi peeps.

(This is a blogpost I made for the DT blog on house of card and thougt it is to know for others to)

Just had to share this with you.

I often had problems that my photos are not white, but blue/gray around the card. Since we dont have much daylight in her in the winter, I ofte not getting enough light on my photos. So when I came over this blog I had to try it out.

And it is working!!!!

I dont use her program, but I find the topic she is talkin about it in the one I use.

Befor and after

So pop over to the "Scrap Escape" blog and check this great tutorial on this topic.

Hope you find this as useful as I did.

Take care and hugs

Spring card and Sequins

Hello again.

We have a fabulous new challenge for you at the House of Cards, add sequins and/or colors. You can be inspired by the colors or include some sequins on your card or be like me and use both! And here is my ispiration card.

I am ispired and by KittieKraft and have followed her blog for years. Her diecut cards with the tinies 3D flowers are stunning and I thougt it would be nice to use one of the dies I have with those tiny flowers this time.

Vintage photo as the main image and tried to layere the card for some dimension. Shaped the flowers and and added some micro star shaped sequins here and there.

Papers are from BoBunny Soirëe Collection and some scrap paper.

Tiny flower die from Impression Obsession, branch die from Marianne Design.
Stikles baby blue in the eye of the flowers. Have no clue where the sequins are from.Vintage photo from Pion papers. All layerd on some premade cardbase from Staples with thick foam tape.

Hope you got some inspiration and want to add a card for our challenge.

Happy crafting and take care.
