Sommer bryllup / Summer wedding

Hallo igjen. ✿

KRISE... 4 daga te bryllup, ingen crappe/hobbybutikka her....

Passa iallefall te sommerbryllup her i nord. ✿

Konkuranser/utfordringer:

Materiale:
Diser fra Papir desing, Cherry Lynne Design, Kaboks, We R Memory
Stempel fra Kort & Godt og vedlegg te et scrappemagasin
Motiv fra Kort & Godt
Stempel puter fra Colorbox Mica magic antique gold og Versamark
Pynt fra making memories
Restepapir ukjent
Kartong fra Bazzill

Fun Folded Twist Card

Hi everyone.

Ready for another month for the challenge at the House of Cards
This month it is all about flower or and lilac/purple colors.

I struggle to find my inspiration, rather beeing out in the sun and enjoy the summer right now.

But looking around I found this Fun Folded Twisted Card at the The Paper Crafting - Scandinavian edition. HERE a link for a Youtube tutorial I used.

Here is how mine turn on this Fun Folded Twisted Card.

I folded it in the opposite directon so my front got just one panel, and the pocket is on the left when you opend the card.

It is an easy and quick card to make, just remember if you use two sided pattern paper, do cut with the side you want too use up, otherwise your panels pattern can be upside down.
I think this card will work great as invitations too, as you can make 3 out of an 12x12 background and an pattern paper.

That's why it is rose pattern on all the large panels at mine. I also glued it down so it stayed as an pocket card. And I made a little note card for the pocket but it dissapeard between my craftroom and my outdor photosession. Sorry.

I have used Bazzill craft for my base and two sided pattern paper from Maja desing.
Used dies from Tattered Lace and Marianne design.
And my stamps are from Norwegian Storyteller, and are all about friendship.
Rinestones from Staz.
Used a Sakura clear glaze gel pen on the sentiments to let pop a little.

The flowers got a sprinkle of mist from Tattered Angel and 13@arts, and shaped before gluing.

So that is my card, hope you enjoyed it, and enter your card for the challenge.

Here is our graphic for the Challenge

Happy Crafting

Acetat and vellum card

Hi again.

New month and and a new challenge at the House of cards. This month it is about clear papers. (Like vellum and acetate).

I had a struggel with this, not short of ideas but they did not came out the way I wanted. So at last I made this. And I am pleased with this card. It is more purple than the photos shows

I am inspired by Jennifer McGuire and lots of her tutorials for vellum and acetate card. Also little inspired from Kittie Caracciolo.

I had this tree die from Impression Obsession, and diecut it out of vellum.

I have got some alcohol inks and playedwith them on a clear binder cover. When dry I diecut som mini flowers. Did shape them e little, and random placed them on the branches of the tree. Little crystals in the center of each flower.

The sentimen is also from Impression Obsession, and machted the card well.

The base is a binder cover sheet folded, and a smaller note card inside.

The sentiment is placed on the note card inside.

Hope you have a little isnpiration from my card here. And hop over to the challenge and see all the other girls creations.

Happy crafting.

Blått stjerne kort med julestjerne

Hei igjen.

Wedding card - easel silhouette card

Hello again.

Ready for a new challenge over at the House of Cards? This month we want to see you create something with silhouettes. Here you can do a lot.

I choose to use a wedding couple die and made a easel wedding card aka Gunn-Eirill does. She has a lot of great stuff on her blog. Pop over and have a look.

Here is my card for this months challenge.

Papers are from Prima and the bling are too. Flowers are from WOC mostly. The dies I have used are from Marianne Design (Marianne Design Craftables Die - Hearts CR1225), ROX stamp (Dies - Gratulerer med dagen) and Tattered Lace Dies (Couple (D169) – Tattered Lace).

The wedding couple are "floating" in the heart .... I have cut to pieses and glue them together with a tread inbetween...

Hope you this made you inspired to make a card of what silhouette are for YOU!
Pop over to the The house of card and see the other girls great creations for more inspiration.

Take care and happy crafting.

Star folded card and Coloring with embossing powder

Hi Peeps, and a Happy New Year to you all.

A new year and an new term as a DT for the House of Cards for me, and I am very happy to be part of this amazing team. This month our Challenge are embossing and or color inspiration.

Here is mye Star foldet Card.

As you know I love and use a lot of embossing on my cards, and to day I want to show you a non-traditional way of embossing, Coloring with embossing powder.

This technique I spotted over at Jennifer McGuire on Youtube and had to try it.
I have this layered stamp sett from Altenew, where I used the leafs to try this technique.

The way of how you do it is that instead of layers of ink stamping you use Versamark and colored embossing powders.

I did not have many colors to pick from so the first layer, the base I used a light green pingment ink from Colorbox and clear embossingpowder over. Next layer is a powder from Tim Holtz and Ranger, and it have this sandy feeling when you touch it. Since I already had a layer of clear embossing powder this powder become less sandy to touch. The top layer is black embossing from Whistler, my favorite embossingpowder, sadly they are retired.

To get a good result it is smart to use your antistatic tool, cloth or buddy between each layer and let them cool down between each embossing and dont overheat.

I have the die set to this stamp set so I die cut all the leavs I made.

I also die cut this ornamental cirkel from Marianne desing, embossed it and when still in the die I inked up the raised parts of it.

The Star foldet card I have seen lots of on Pintrest and have made one before, and this is a simpler take on it as I wanted to let the leavs and front lable be the main focus.

I lightly inked up the egdes of the roses, and a lace ribbond glued at the back of the front panel with a cirkle to cover it.

The text I diecut from the same paper as the card base of the card. I was planed to emboss it but forgot. Sorry. Emboss your diecuts in embossing powder and they get a 3D effect. You can see it on my Frosty Card. This is also a card with a lot of heat embossing on it, have look for more inspirations.

There are so many ways that you can eboss and use embossing powder. Hope you got inspired and want to try out this fun technique of layered embossing.

And check out the other DT members for more inspiration~

Stamped Punched window with a hidden object

Hi am back with another challenge at The House of Cards

This month it is a teqhnique challenge: Stamped punch window. And you know me I had to challenge my self on this. Did not know of this technique, but I looked it up after Mynn showed us. And there is a lot of tutorials on the Youtube and at Pintrest. I also found a lot of card with this hidden object, so I wanted to combine these.

And here is my November card.

And when you open it, a new object shows in the cut out window.

And here you see how it slide inn the window pocket.

And here is howe the die cut fit rigth in the die cut window of the bulb.

I stamped and embossed and cut out all the bulbs and used a halographic embossingpowder. It gives a nice shine of the color as in the rainbow.

The two bulbs in the front are mounted with thick foam tape to give some dimension. Used quilters rainbow colord tre to hang them in the pine branch. The pinebranch is punched out with a branch punch and put together. And used my white Wink of Stella brush.

The hanging on teh top of the bulbs I embossed in silver and fuzzy cut out,

This was a fun card to make, and there is a load of tutorials and inspiration on both Youtube and Pintrest.

Here is what I have used:
Spellbinder die set and stamps
Marha Punch pine branch
Distress ink Chipped Sapphire
Versamark ink
Ranger Holagraphic embossing powder
Whistler silver embossingpowder
Pattern paper from Inkido, sadly retired.
Div green scrapp paper
White crardboardl
Wink of Stella white.

Now your turn pop over to the challenge and see alle the other girls fab crations and hope you enter your own card in the challenges.

Happy Crafting all you sweet paperlovers.

Hugs (✿*‿*) Ma

My 1st Pocket Letter

Hello all you wonderful crafters.

Her is my firsth Pocket Letter ever. I did not think it was for me, but I really liked makeing this so I alredy have made and published that here on my blog. Textured Pocket Letter.

And I will make some more and swap with other crafting friends. So here we go.

Here is my Christmas themed Pocket Letter.

And here are some more photos of it.

I have used patternpapers from Swedish Pion, this years Christmas paper, and from Norwegian PapirDesging last years Christmas collection as the base in the pockets.

I am so lucky to own this Boss Cut retired Poinsettia die and made one for the cover and one for the pocket. They are cut in white ColorCopy paper and inked up with to shades of reds and greens. And a glitter stone for the center.

Here are some more details:

In the collection of the Pion Christmas paper ther was panels that fited the pockets just right.

Some embellishement added in those diffrent pockets

Diecut some Christmas greeting and embossed they with holograpich clear embossing powder and the snowflakes are punched out and used Wink of Stella clear brush on them and added a raindrop in the centre.

All the pocket are 3,5x2,5inch and here I cut out a pice of vellum and stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Made one extra that I fuzzcut around the oval and that I tucked in behind the the other. Punched out some branches out of green patternpaper leftovers. Used strong tape on the vellom and randomly placed them around the oval. Finished it off whit some snow paste. Here you can use gesso or white chalk ink or paint. Use what you have :)
Here I have used a piece og clear binding cover to add the embellishment on. Smal drop of glue under those hearts from Storyteller, and wrapped the ribbon around. You can use any plastic you have from packaging, but it have to thick enough so i dont bend to much. I roundet all the corners with a corner punch.

Those lovely panels from the pattern paper I wanted to do some more with and got I tip from another crafting friend. I applyed glue all over the panel (I use RX-glue from 3M) and addet clear glitter all over it and shaked off the acess powder. Inked the egdes with a red ink and ready to go in the pocket.. stuck som smalle embellishment together with it.

Then I used my friends tip for adding ribbons and treads in the christmas color in the holes in the side of the pocket letter.

Hope you got inspired to make a pocket letter you too.
Take care and have fun crafting.
