Christmas tag in traditional colors

Hello everyone.

We have a fabulous new challenge for you at House of Cards this month!  You can be inspired by the colors or include the holiday theme on your card or be like me and use both.

To day it is the first day with snow here, and I have been in real Christmas mood here. So this months challenge was just all joy. And I wanted to start making some tag for the Christmas presents later this season. And here are the first one.

So here is my lovely Christmas Santa tag, or Nisse as we say here in Norway.... our nisse are small and lives in the barn or in the woods and are all kind to the animals and do tricks on us humans these weesk before Christmas. So if anything goes wrong, blame it on the Nisse. :D

I always have enjoy to color since childhood. And for this tag I use one of my very first stamp ever, one I have very dear and want more of the same style. So if you know of any let me know ;)

This one is from Ladybugs and Friends, and I don't know the designer of this. So if any know the desinger, I like to know. 

This one I have used a lot, and used with my Promarkers and watercolor on, but never my Prismacolor. So of course this one had to be done with my pencils and on my craft cardstock. 

I just use the pencils, and no mediums needed when blending on craft or sketch paper. Started to ink it up with Memento London fog, a ligth gray and then colored it.

Die cut it with a tag die from Die'desire. Inked up the edges with the same ink. It needed some more so I used my Martha Stewart branch punch and punched out some branches in green scrap papers and added some red half pearls and a dark green ribbon.

Spring card and Sequins

Hello again. 

We have a fabulous new challenge for you at the House of Cards, add sequins and/or colors. You can be inspired by the colors or include some sequins on your card or be like me and use both! And here is my ispiration card.

I am ispired and by KittieKraft and have followed her blog for years. Her diecut cards with the tinies 3D flowers are stunning and I thougt it would be nice to use one of the dies I have with those tiny flowers this time. 

Vintage photo as the main image and tried to layere the card for some dimension. Shaped the flowers and and added some micro star shaped sequins here and there.

Papers are from BoBunny Soirëe Collection and some scrap paper.

Tiny flower die from Impression Obsession, branch die from Marianne Design.

Stikles baby blue in the eye of the flowers. Have no clue where the sequins are from.Vintage photo from Pion papers. All layerd on some premade cardbase from Staples with thick foam tape.

Konfirmasjons tid - jenter

Hallo igjen.

Fikk bestilling på konfirmasjons kort og da ble det noen bler i samme stilen. Utgangaspunktet var et kort jeg har laget tidligere, da til gutt.

Her er kortene.

Brukt vintage motiv fra klippeark, blomsten er av samme mønster papir som bakgrunnen. Revet strimler av papireet og en kontrast farge. Bånd ble laget av fibervev i match ende farge. Metall og perlepynt i blomsten. 

Inni er det en konfirmasjons tektst og en skjult pengelomm bak skrive feltet. Baksiden er lignene som inni.

Lagde flere i rosa og lilla toner, men disse er de jeg likte best.

Springtime and confirmation - Girls

Hello peeps.

Spring are here and my garden are out of snow already a bit earlier this year than normal. And with springtime it is time for confirmations around here. 

And this months challenges at the House of Cards has colors that are nice for girly cards. 

So here we go, here are my card for this month.

Did the same lay out for the inside just shifted on the layers here.

This months challenges is all about "script" and or colors. I did go for both. I did all colors, script and the tulips. Love tulips, by the way. ;)

I have used old papers from Kort&Godt, Bazzill, DCWV and the image is from a Pion die cut sheet. 

Script corner stamps are from "Lilly of the Valey" and the Norwgian sentiment say "It is your day today" and I don't know the maker of this. 

Die cut a doily from an old book page, and lace and ribbon from my stash. 

The tulips are from WOC. Dies I used are from Tonic Studios and Marianne Design.

Desember 2015 House of Cards Blog hop

Oh gosh, December already... have you been noty or nice... hihihi

Hello all you wonderfull cardmakers and crafting peeps.

Hope you all are in the Christmas mood, and will join us in this blog hop for the

Here is my inspiration cards

I have used digis from our sponsors MHKDesigns and stamps from Great Impressions.

With the papers and brand new digi from MHKDesigns, I made this rosett card. Love makeing these and it worked well with this digi and worn pinkish paper. You know I love work with craft paper, so our inspiration photo for this bloghop was just a joy for me. Have used an egde punch Ek success, and die from Tonic studion and the Poinsettia are from retired Boss Cut.
Picked up the pink, white and craft, and some hits of gold on the poinsettia and some gold strings. The digi is colored with Distress markers and covered in ice glitter.

 From Great Impressions I fell in love with this "dreamy" tree stamp and just had to have it.
And in my stash i found my old flock kit, and have not used it for agedes. So why not use that together with som gold glitter and and a glue pad. Flock is this velvet print on cards, and was super hot when I started makeing cards. Wanted them to have a simple and clean look. Do not have many English greetings, but found this in a set I had and used it here. 

As you know I am a sucker for snowflake, can't get to many of them, dies stamps punches... whatever as long theres some snowflake I am fine. So this to ended up in my basket. Did the same with this, like the other one. And both got a layer with gold glitter at the egde. Did not have any gold glitter paper. And yes I do have gold glitter all over my house. Even my dog is sparkling.

Rosa hjerte boks

Hallo alle scrappere!

Idag har æ lyst å vise en hjerteboks æ har dekorert til ære for oktober er månden med fokus på brystkreft, Rosa sløyfe aksjonen.

Her er link til en liten video montasje på Youtube av denne:

Hadde tatt vare på en hjerteformet sjokolade eske, og malte den med gesso og akrylmaling. Tegnet av fasonge og klippet ut. Brukte tekst stensiler og memento stempel puter, og fikk litt variasjon i papiret. Svertet også kantene med Memento. Alle kantene på boksen ble også svertet. Alle metallene fikk en omgang med alkoholblekk. Blomstene er laget av rester av papiret. Brukte puncher fra Fiskars og Ek Success. Hvite bakgrunsblomster er die fra Prima og swirlene er Joy Crafts. Løse krystallener fra Kort&Godt, og strass lenkene er fra smykke lage stasjet mitt. Metallene er også derifra.

Bunnen inni fikk hvit bunn med stempel fra Papirdesign, et av mine favoritt tekst stempler på vennskap. Pyntet litt i siden for balanse.

Innsiden ble også dekket av mønster papir og liten blomsterpynt.

Metallblomstene er store perle kapsler som ble flatet ut og fikk en omgang med alkoholblekk og så formet til blomster, Rosene er ala Kirsten Hyde mal 

Hadde lyst å ha litt sånn mixmedia feeling på denna så jeg skvetta over med litt forskjellige mister og malinger i hvitt, rosa og sølv nyanser.

Blomster laging får fint at gjøre når en sitter å ser på TV. 

Esken skal få en liten spa gave inne seg senere.

Lollipop cards and HOC

Hi friends.

Time for another challenge at the House of Cards. 

And the newest trend here i Norway are "Lollipop-cards". 

So I wanted to try that and I also wanted to color again, have been a while since the last one. 

Been a while since I had colored so that was a challenge to. I have som favorte artist and this time i choose some from Aurora Wings, take a peek at all her lovely digis. I colored these with my Prismacolor pencils, and I have not forgotten how to.. :)

All the lollipop-cards I have seen have all been round, and you know me... I had to do it my own way, ... so you see mine ended up oval and I got to use my new Spellbinder die. And my paper straws have dissapeared, so I just used normal plastic straws. Not as pretty but they work. 

Flowers are from Wild Orchid,

On the back side I stampt some friend text from Storyteller also the blings are from them.

These are so easy and fun to make and you can use flower sticks instead of straws and stick it in a flower pot as a little extra decoration or with clearbag of a treat for any occacsions. 

I challenged my self by using yellow and orage colors, but I had to make one useing one of my faveorite color combos, blue colors.

Can you believe we've come to the end of our third term here at House of Cards?! We are saying a fond farewell to some of our DT members and feel so grateful to those staying on.

Here is my card for the bloghop. 

Here I have used stamps from our sponsor Great Impressions - A scent of a Rose and Rose Trio. One is embossed with black embossing powder from Whistler. Always smooth and good cover and easy mealting powder. 

The other I have tried out faux no-line coloring. 

The roses are colored with TH Disstress markers and water brush and a hint of my Wink of Stella brush, clear.

Pattern papers from Prima, Butterfly collection. Pearls and swirls and the dowe are from my "little" stash collection. The card base and layer are Bazzill cardstock. 

The swirls I colored with a pink Promarker.  
Ribbon and lace are from my never ending stash.
